I serialized the first part of my novel The Art of Killing Gods, Book One of The Broken Pantheon trilogy.
It ended up being seventeen chapters, released one per week. And no paywall!

A Note Before You Enter the Pantheon
This ain’t a dusty retelling.
The Olympians still exist in the 21st century, but they are not what they were in the epic poems. Belief has eroded and the divine have adjusted to, let’s say, market conditions.
At the center of this story is a question:
When gods begin to lose control, who decides what replaces them?
A Note on Content:
These chapters were part one as the novel continued through line edits and proofing before the release. What you’re reading is the story, but some things have changed in the final manuscript—names, words, & other small details. So, if you spot a typo, it may already be fixed, but feel free to comment so I can scoop up any stragglers.
Everything here exists because systems don’t collapse gently. With that being said, this story includes:
Violence
Grief and generational trauma
Coercion and divine manipulation
Power struggles that may feel uncomfortably familiar
Take your time. Even immortals need breath.
Prologue: On the Matter of Twelve
Recorded but Not Heeded
They warned us, of course. There is always, always a warning. A scrap of verse. A whisper from a Fury? A footnote, perhaps, in a ledger no one bothers to read until the world is already burning.
Something about twelve. And a mortal who refused to behave as mortals should.
We laughed. Because we always laugh.
When you have been immortal long enough, even warnings begin to feel like theater. Something staged for the benefit of lesser beings.
It wasn’t.
